MO
'MO' – is a musical conversation between Mark Tokar and Olesya Zdorovetska.
Established in their native Ukraine as two of the leading improvisers of their generation,
they have performed together in duo since 2011.
The world of MO is fearless, uncompromising and raw - their music is not created, it is
released. This power, combined with the duo’s compositional attention to detail and
underlying sense of formal structure, has already attracted attention from many leading
figures of the international free and avant-garde circles, and they are quietly tipped to
become a pivotal fulcrum of the new cadre of improvising musicians from Eastern
Europe.
